ZooLab Visit

We recently welcomed a number of small animals from mice to tarantulas through to snakes as ZooLab visited for what was a very interesting session.

Whilst being close up and personal to some of the critters was not up everybody's street, for the majority of our residents it was something very different that they enjoyed!

As well as being great fun, animals can be very therapeutic (particularly the more furry ones) and therefore, this gave the visit just that little boost in terms of how much it meant to everyone.

The brave amongst us even held the rather large snake which the Zoolab team brought and found it an extremely interesting afternoon as the team not only showed the animals, but explained a little about them and their habitats as well.
